Nicole is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (SW 11346) in Palm Beach Gardens, with specialty experience providing therapeutic services to professionals, executives, and entrepreneurs.

Education and Background

Nicole received her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from University of St. Thomas/St. Catherine University School of Social Work. and is a licensed clinical social worker in Florida.

Nicole is a qualified supervisor in the state of Florida and has 18 years’ experience working with substance use, mental health and is a trauma specialist. In addition, Nicole has worked in large healthcare and government entities in the non-profit and for-profit sectors.

Treatment Philosophy​

Studies have repeatedly shown that the single most important factor in predicting successful treatment outcomes is the relationship between therapist and patient. With that said, Nicole believes in building rapport, safety and collaboration with her patients. She draws from therapeutic strategies grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy and trauma-focused modalities based on the specific needs of the patient.

She utilizes both interpersonal therapeutic methods, as well as evidence-based treatment interventions supported by current research.

Nicole is passionate about assisting others in finding balance and freedom in all aspects of their lives including career, relationships, and personal fulfillment. She is dedicated to helping individuals who are struggling with stress, relationships, and those seeking to change challenging life patterns.

Employing a direct and driven approach to therapy, Nicole focuses on goal-based counseling that empowers her patients to create change in their own lives. She works collaboratively with her patients to identify what success means to them in an open, safe, and understanding environment. Depending on her patient’s goals, Nicole can work collaboratively and practice both therapy and coaching, providing both emotional support and actionable guidance.

Nicole has been trained to treat a broad spectrum of mental health concerns including trauma specific issues, personality disorders (Narcissistic and Borderline Personality), anxiety and depressive disorders (e.g., social anxiety, OCD, phobias, PTSD, panic disorder, generalized anxiety), substance use disorder and compulsive behaviors. She is an addiction specialist. She is trained in mindfulness-based therapies and advanced training and experience in utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
